Tiago is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. He is mainly interested in empirical macroeconomic research, particularly topics relating to fiscal policy and labour markets.
Before joining the programme, he worked as a research assistant at the Centre for Macroeconomics for Ethan Ilzetzki and Liliana Varela.
Tiago holds an MSc in Economics from LSE, and a BSc in Economics from the Nova School of Business and Economics.
