Sripriya Iyengar Srivatsa

Sripriya Iyengar Srivatsa is an LSE Fellow at the School of Public Policy. Her research centres on gender and tax, intergovernmental fiscal relations, and the political economy of property taxation.

She has conducted extensive fieldwork in Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and Zambia, combining original qualitative data collection with field experiments, largely in collaboration with government partners. She was previously a Policy Economist with the IGC’s Cities that Work Initiative and completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge.
