Sarah is a Policy Officer at the Growth Lab, working on the Bloomberg LSE Mayoral Strategic Authorities (MSA) Programme, a joint initiative between LSE Cities and the School of Public Policy supporting English devolution and Mayoral Strategic Authorities. Her work involves research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement to support these authorities in advancing devolution and local priorities.
She holds an MSc in Inequalities and Social Science from LSE and a BSc in International Social and Public Policy, also from LSE, for which she was awarded the David Piachaud Prize. Her academic interests include gender inequality, menstrual health policy, UK welfare policy, and data visualisation for policy communication - themes she has explored across both her undergraduate and postgraduate dissertation research. Her interactive project mapping independent schools and educational inequality in England was shortlisted for the Playfair Prize 2026.
Before becoming Policy Officer, Sarah worked as an Occasional Research Assistant at the LSE Growth Lab and in Professor Aaron Reeves's office. Sarah's policy work is complemented by her ongoing commitment to public and community engagement, particularly youth mental health advocacy through NHS-affiliated advisory roles.
