Rossana works in the Department of Statistics as the Finance and Operations officer. Before joining stats, she worked for a period within LSE’s DTS, providing dedicated AV and IT support to our faculty and students. Rossana's actual background is management accounting, and she worked for many years within finance teams for different companies such as what3words, AEI Music and The Football Foundation. She also volunteers as the Chair of the Board of trustees in her spare time for a charity. All these experiences have equipped Rossana with the knowledge and skill to support our department across finance and operations.
She supports the Finance and Research manager with finance related queries, expenses, reimbursements and invoicing. Rossana manages the stats.finance inbox also, so please drop me a line if you have any questions. Outside of this, she looks after our Leverhulme library and manages our larger IT hardware purchases and assist with reporting. Within operations, she looks after our shared spaces to make sure they are safe, accessible, and welcoming.
One of her favourite all time shows is Battlestar Galactica and she is a massive Dune-head.
