Nelson Diaz Puerto

Nelson is a Policy Officer at the TPI Global Climate Transition Centre (TPI Centre).

The TPI Centre provides asset owners and managers with publicly available data on the climate performance of companies, banks and countries. Nelson contributes to assessing the world’s biggest banks in their alignment with the goals of the Paris Agreement.

Background

Nelson holds a BSc in Economics from Andes University in Bogotá, Colombia. Before joining the TPI Centre he worked at Transforma – CCADI. This role involved supporting the main actors of the Colombian financial system to transition to a low-carbon economy by providing assessments, recommendations and engaging with public officials. Nelson also worked in the Climate Change Unit at the Developed Bank of Latin America (CAF).
