About
Malvika is a Research Officer in the Department of Methodology at LSE, working on ENDOW. She focuses on enabling longitudinal data infrastructure, including the construction, management, harmonisation, and documentation of research databases for social science research. She completed her PhD at Ghent University, and has previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Max Planck Society and Charité, Berlin.
Malvika’s broader research interests centre on the social determinants of wellbeing, with a particular focus on how social, developmental, and psychosocial experiences shape mental and physical well-being across the life course. She has worked with longitudinal cohort, RCT, experimental, and intensive longitudinal/EMA data, and is especially interested in how well-designed longitudinal data infrastructures can enable robust, transparent, and reusable research on wellbeing, inequality, and well-being.
