Kojo is an AI Consultant at the Energy Systems Catapult, a UK innovation organisation accelerating clean energy innovation. His work focuses on the responsible adoption of AI across the energy sector, advising innovators and policymakers on AI governance spanning technical capability, market economics, and regulatory strategy.

Alongside his UK work, Kojo supported Qhala as a Senior AI Policy Analyst, working directly with several African governments to design and coordinate national AI strategies. He contributed to shaping the Africa AI Council, drafting its foundational frameworks on data governance, convening events across Africa and Europe that brought AI researchers together, and developing a practical AI Governance Toolkit for policymakers.

Kojo has also led digital communications strategies for numerous African organisations, providing consultancy to African technology startups and also as an events and communications officer at LSE's Firoz Lalji Institute for Africa.

A frequent public speaker, Kojo presents on responsible AI, data governance, and innovation in data-constrained environments at international conferences and policy forums. He holds an MSc in Data & Society from the London School of Economics, where his research examined trust, agency, and power dynamics in African AI development. He was awarded the inaugural "AI Tech Champion of the Year" by the Black Tech Achievement Awards in 2025.
