Hitesh is interested in statistical machine learning, with a focus on decision making under uncertainty, multi-armed bandits, optimization, and AI alignment. He is particularly interested in developing mathematically rigorous methods for learning from structured and sequential feedback. Hitesh welcomes collaboration and dialogue with researchers and professionals from both academia and industry.

Before pursuing his PhD at LSE, Hitesh holds an M.S. by Research in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, and a B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation Control Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala.
