Ellen is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics. Her is main research interests are in the fields of political economy, historical development, and empirical industrial organization.
Before joining the programme, she worked as a predoctoral research fellow at the University of British Columbia (UBC), carrying out research in economic history and development.
Ellen holds a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of International Economics from UBC.
