Dina Rabie is a behavioural/experimental economist who is currently a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Social Policy, London School of Economics and Political Science, and an Assistant Professor in Economics at Northeastern University London.

Dr Rabie is the Scientific Advisor and Co-founder of the Experimental and Behavioural Economics Laboratory (EBEL) at the British University in Egypt (BUE); a unique laboratory in the Arabic-speaking Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region founded in cooperation with the Research Laboratory of the University of Hamburg (UHH) in 2018. Dr Rabie is the organizer of the BUE-EBEL Annual International Meeting in Behavioural and Experimental Economics series.

Dr Rabie is a team member in the European Research Council project "The Cultural Logic of Honour and Social Interaction: A Cross-Cultural Comparison (HonourLogic)", PI: Prof. Ayse Uskul, University of Sussex. Dr Rabie also contributed to The Arab Databank of Law and Economics, University of Hamburg (UHH), throughout her visiting research positions at the Institute of Law and Economics, UHH, from 2015 to 2022.

Dr Rabie obtained her PhD degree in Economics from the University of Hamburg, Germany, in May 2021. She held the positions of a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics at the British University in Egypt in 2021-22 and Assistant Lecturer in Economics at the same University from 2013 to 2021. Dr Rabie held the position of a Research Fellow and the Experimental Laboratory Manager at Nottingham Trent University Business School from February 2022 to September 2023.
