David Burgherr is a PhD Student in Economics at the University of Zurich. He is also affiliated with the CAGE Research Centre at the University of Warwick. His research focuses on taxation, income and wealth inequality, and pension policy. In current projects, he studies migration responses to taxes and the effects of pension policies on saving behaviour. Before starting his doctoral studies, he held research positions at the LSE International Inequalities Institute and the University of Bern where he also completed MSc and BSc degrees in economics.
