Cecilia is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics. Her research focuses on the application of economic theory to AI security.
Before joining the programme, she was employed as a research fellow working on AI safety at AI Futures Fellowship in Mexico City, and PIBBSS in Prague. She has also worked as an investment consultant.
Cecilia holds an MPhil in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Oxford, and an MSc in Economics from the University of Edinburgh.
