About
Cathy is currently a Visiting Senior Fellow in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science where she obtained her PhD under the supervision of Caroline Howarth.
Her main interests lie in the exploration of imagined boundaries between social groups in tension, whether at the local or global level - to explore if, when and how they may cross group boundaries to forge new social realities. Her qualitative approach allows exploration of the cultural and political contexts in which individuals, as group members are embedded, to uncover an array of perspectival representations from which to begin the possibilities of a meaningful conversation.
