Asami is a PhD candidate and social data scientist specialising in political behaviour and political psychology.

She is passionate about uncovering how information conveyed through various media influences people's perceptions, attitudes, and behaviours toward politics. Her research also focuses on methods for causal inference, computational approaches, and experimental designs to elucidate these phenomena.

Asami holds a Master of Science in Applied Social Data Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a Master of Media and Governance from Keio University, and a B.A. in Environment and Information Studies from Keio University.
