Antoine Hubert de Fraisse is an Assistant Professor at LSE Department of Finance. He obtained his PhD from HEC Paris. His research focuses on empirical macro-finance and corporate finance, studying how monetary policy, government debt markets, and the banking sector shape firms’ investment and financing decisions. He addresses questions such as: how monetary policy transmits to corporate investment, how the supply of government debt crowds out corporate investment, what it costs to shift interest-rate risk onto taxpayers through quantitative easing, and how frictions in bank deposit-taking and lending market power shape the loan rates firms pay.
