Dr Andreas Sintos is a Visiting Fellow within LSE Health.

He holds a PhD in Economics (2021) from the University of Ioannina, Department of Economics, where his dissertation examined employers’ and employees’ behaviour and labour market outcomes during periods of economic crisis. His research focuses on labour economics, political economy, income inequality, and macroeconomics, with a particular interest in how economic shocks, institutions, and policy interventions shape labour markets and broader social outcomes.
