Amaia Palencia is an Assistant Professor at the UNED. Her research focuses on labour market inequalities, especially those related to gender and immigration. She is also interested in analysing the socioeconomic impact of climate change.
Previously, she was a Research Officer at the International Inequalities Institute (LSE) and a Scientific Officer at the Joint Research Centre (European Commission). She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Vigo and an MSc from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
