About me

Dr Rabia Qusien is LSE Fellow in the Department of Media and Communications at LSE.  Her work focuses on climate and health communication. Her research examines the intersections of media and public discourse to advance community resilience in the face of climate-related health challenges. Dr Qusien aims to bridge research and practice through her work, advocating for equitable and culturally responsive climate communication strategies. Her academic and professional experience spans multiple global contexts, including Pakistan, where she has worked extensively on development, environmental, and climate change communication. 

Dr Qusien earned her PhD from the School of Communication, Dublin City University, where she also lectured on environmental communication. She worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Alliance for a Sustainable Future at George Washington University and lectured on Introduction to Sustainability Communication.
