Consent.Ed is LSE's mandatory programme on consent and active bystander intervention. The programme helps students understand LSE's expectations, policies, support services and reporting options.
Completing Consent.Ed
All students must complete both stages of the programme:
- Level 1: Complete the online training before arriving on campus.
- Level 2: Attend a 90-minute workshop with fellow students in your department.
Attendance and completion of both Level 1 and Level 2 are monitored.
Level 2 forms part of your departmental induction and your session will be added to your Student Hub calendar. Please ensure you complete the Level 1 training before attending your workshop.
If you are unable to attend your allocated Level 2 session, or if a session has not been added to your induction timetable, you must register for a catch-up session via the Consent.Ed webpage.
Survivor-only workshops and support
We recognise that Consent.Ed explores sensitive topics. To provide a supportive and tailored environment for discussion, LSE offers survivor-only workshops as an alternative to attending your departmental session.
You can book a survivor-only workshop through the Consent.Ed webpage. The webpage also contains information about LSE's specialist support services and alternative arrangements for those who may feel unable to participate because of personal experience.
