About me

Ziqi Zhong is a PhD Candidate in Marketing, fully funded by LSE and the Lee Family PhD Scholarship. His research interests lie in digital marketing, marketing for good, sustainability, and the marketing-finance interface. He employs various approaches, including behavioural and experimental economics, causal inference, and machine learning.

Ziqi completed his MRes at LSE and received his BEng in Cyber Security from the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, China. He was an inaugural graduate of his BEng programme and was selected as the "Top 10 Person of the Year 2016."

Before joining LSE, Ziqi worked as a User Data Scientist at NetEase Games. During this time, he also led and participated in research projects on consumer HCI, risk modelling, and the marketing-finance interface.

In addition to his work and research, Ziqi has won several honours as an amateur singer and choir member, including the Gold Prize at the National University Art Exhibition. He is also a Kendo practitioner and the first Chinese Master Instructor in Scuba and Freediving in Europe. Through his diving instruction, he is committed to promoting marine conservation.
