About me

Sazid Ahmad holds a BBA from The Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, and an MSc degree, with Distinction, in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations from Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. In 2019 he was a member of the winning team of the case study competition at the Annual MSc HRM and IHRM Conference.

Sazid has professional experience working in Asiatic Experiential Marketing Limited and Market Access Providers Limited, two renowned marketing agencies in Bangladesh. He is also experienced in HR and completed an internship at BRAC International, related to his area of specialisation.

Sazid’s research interests include employee voice and empowerment, diversity and inclusion, and inequalities in the global supply chains. He is also interested in analysing inequality through an intersectional lens. His Master’s dissertation focused on the UCU and the decision making influence of women in the union. Due to his research interests and academic progress, he has been selected as the recipient of the Rita Stephen Scholarship for 2021-22 academic session.
