Kenneth Rogoff (@krogoff) is the Maurits C. Boas Professor at Harvard University and former IMF chief economist. Known for his work on central bank independence and exchange rates, his previous books include Foundations of International Macroeconomics (with Maurice Obstfeld) and This Time is Different (with Carmen Reinhart). His global economics column appears in 50+ countries. An elected member of the NAS and AAAS, Rogoff is among the most cited economists and an international chess grandmaster.
