Becky Musiega is the Centre Manager (Maternity Cover) at LSE Health.
Becky joins from a position as Unit Manager for the Global Health Initiative (GHI) and Project Manager for the NIHR-funded Systems of Evidence to Improve Health Policy in Africa (SEIHPA) programme. She also supported the African Health Observatory Platform on Health Systems and Policies (AHOP) at LSE Health.
Becky has a strong interest in health systems, global health research, and health innovation. Prior to joining LSE, she spent two and a half years at Novo Nordisk across the Denmark headquarters and UK Country Office. Most recently, she worked as a Global Project Manager for Digital Health & Commercial Excellence within the Cardiovascular & Emerging Therapy Areas portfolio, covering MASH, Alzheimer’s disease, and chronic kidney disease (CKD). During her time at Novo Nordisk, she also worked across Digital Health Diabetes Commercialisation, UK Customer Engagement, and Development Strategy & Operations.
Before moving into the private sector, Becky completed internships with the Rockefeller Foundation and the U.S. Foreign Agricultural Service.
Originally from Kenya, Becky has lived and studied in the United States, Denmark, Belgium, France, and the UK. She holds a BA in Economics and International Relations from Tufts University and joint master’s degrees in Economic History and Global Studies from the London School of Economics and Ghent University.
