LSE Law team celebrates success at the 2026 Vis Moot in Hong Kong and Vienna
Six LSE Law students have just completed an epic Vis Moot journey across Hong Kong and Vienna!
Congratulations to Arjun Gunalan (LLB), Thomas Taylor (LLB), Alicja Staśkiewicz (LLM), Francine Ibeh (LLM), Matteo Dressino (LLM), and Veronika Klinger (LLM). From over 380 teams in Vienna, the team placed 29th globally and advanced to the Round of 64 in the 33rd Vis Moot, alongside strong performances across the season’s preparatory rounds in Amsterdam, Riga, London, and Prague.
In total, the team brought home multiple awards, including Honourable Mentions for both Claimant and Respondent memorials in Vienna, as well as an Honourable Mention for the Claimant memorial in Hong Kong. A special congratulations to Thomas Taylor, who ranked among the top 5% of individual oralists and received an Honourable Mention.
The team would also like to offer huge thanks to their coaches and supporters: Paul MacMahon, Johana Zizakova, Prerna Singh, Luiza Bandeira Arantes, Maria Michael, and Julian Ranetunge.
