As a result of the military invasion of Ukraine, Russia has been subject to the most extensive global financial sanctions the world has seen to date. 

A seminar, "Ukraine and the Effectiveness of Financial Sanctions", open to students, alumni and the general public, will take place on Thursday 10 March 2022 (attendance can be in person, or online). 

The event will consider the nature and effectiveness of these financial sanctions in controlling and disciplining Russia’s aggression.
