In a first for the Law Department undergraduate students have been given an introduction to the development and deployment of LawTech by our partners at ThoughtRiver. On Tuesday 12 November ThoughtRiver Contract Intelligence Executive (and LSE IT Law Graduate) Lorraine Chimbga led a workshop with thirty LLB students on how LawTech develops and forms of AI for legal practice as well as specific insights into the ThoughtRiver software. These students were then offered a further hands-on workshop with the ThoughtRiver software and its Lexible Natural Language Processing capability. Students who successfully complete the programme with be issued with a Lexible Certification.
