Wednesday 25 March 2026

LSE Law School is delighted to announce that the LSE Legal Advice Centre has been shortlisted for three awards at the 2026 LawWorks and Attorney General’s Student Pro Bono Awards, recognising the outstanding contribution of its students and Legal Advice Centre to pro bono work.

Organised by LawWorks and sponsored by LexisNexis, the awards celebrate the best pro bono activities undertaken by law students and law schools across England and Wales. This year, more than sixty nominations were received.

LSE is the only university to be shortlisted in three categories:

  • Best New Pro Bono Activity: LSE Homelessness Legal Clinic
  • Best Contribution by a Team of Students: LSE Legal Advice Clinic Team
  • Best Contribution by a Law School: LSE Legal Advice Centre

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the House of Lords on 28 April, hosted by the Attorney General, Lord Hermer.

The awards recognise the vital role of student pro bono in supporting access to justice and serving the wider public good.
