Mercedes Coca

Mercedes received an MA Language and Literature in Education (Modern Foreign Languages) from the UCL Institute of Education (IOE), University of London.

She joined LSE in 1997 and teaches Spanish language and society undergraduate degree options. She also co-ordinates Italian non-degree courses.

Prior to joining LSE, Mercedes worked as a Spanish lecturer and visiting teacher at Imperial College, Regent’s College (European Business School), University of East London and the Cervantes Institute amongst other teaching institutions.
