The Department works closely with LSE Careers to give you opportunities to explore your professional development.

    Autumn Term appointment times:

    Every Tuesday and Thursday 2.00pm-5.00pm (online or on campus)

    Ringfenced IR slots online in Weeks 2-3 on Mondays from 10:30-12pm and W4 from 1:30-3pm

Autumn Term 2026

All sessions will be conducted by Aysha Abdul-Khader and available to book via MyCareer. Bookings information will be shared with you approximately two weeks before each event.

Details will be published at the beginning of Autumn Term.

LSE Careers is available to help with your career queries and planning.

In addition to the four career discussions that all LSE students can book each term with the Careers team, IR students have exclusive access to additional appointments with IR Career Consultant Aysha Abdul-Khader.

Aysha will be running careers appointments specifically for International Relations students over several weeks in Autumn and Winter Term (aside from reading week). View and book appointments via LSE MyCareer.

Appointments are also available Monday to Friday with other careers consultants.

A careers appointment can help if you are unsure of what to do, would like to explore options, need help with your CV, or have any career related query.
