About me

I research the influence of foreign militarisation and the War on Terror on state legitimation processes in Niger. I am using mixed-methods approaches to explore the political dynamics that emerge in a context of intense militarisation and counter-terrorism operations.

I am also an Associate Researcher at ODI where I work with the Global Risks and Resilience Programme on radicalisation, conflict and climate change in the Sahel.

I hold a BA in Psychology from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in Anthropology and Development from the London School of Economics.
