My research explores how targeted economic policies influence public sentiment, attribution of responsibility, and demand for collective action in non-democratic contexts like Singapore. Utilizing textual data from online forums, I analyze online changes in political behaviour in response to targeted labour market policies such as nationalization quotas and wage subsidies.
