Facing the Global Biodiversity Crises and Sixth Mass Extinction: international public opinion and support for transformative change

A new international study led by Dr Ganga Shreedhar, Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science, reveals that while public awareness of the sixth mass extinction is low, support for action is remarkably high. The findings highlight a significant opportunity for policymakers, communicators, and environmental organisations to engage the public and drive transformative change.
