Funding announcements
The London School of Economics and Political Science announces $1.5 million in funding from Google.org
The funding will support research related to AI and the economy that will advance academic scholarship, fill critical gaps in the evidence base for AI’s impact on the economy, and inform economic policymaking.
The Collaborative for AI in the Public Interest awards $500k in funding for the LSE Data Science Institute
The grant will be used to build institutional capacity for a new project to advance the role of workers across the global AI supply chain.
