Smarter than the storm
This public event marks the global launch of Smarter Than the Storm, a new book by Amitabh Kant and Siddharth Sinha, and explores its core ideas in conversation with Nicholas Stern.
Drawing on global case studies and lived realities, the discussion will examine how AI can act as a force multiplier to counter climate risks, while addressing challenges such as energy intensity, data concentration, and sovereignty. The conversation will explore ideas ranging from sovereign AI and future-ready data centres to digital public infrastructure and the systems, policy, and finance levers needed to turn disruption into opportunity and shape a smarter, cleaner, and more resilient future.
