How to do a Comprehensive Banking Reform

How to fundamentally reform a country’s monetary policy, and restructure and rebuild its crisis-ridden banking sector? The former Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, Valeria Gontareva, will distil lessons from her years at the helm of the central bank where she spearheaded difficult but vital reforms, and offer policy recommendations - particularly for emerging markets and developing countries.

Valeria Gontareva is Senior Policy Fellow at the Institute of Global Affairs, LSE, and former Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Minouche Shafik is Director of the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to this she was Deputy Governor of the Bank of England.
