Vastav is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. His primary research interest is macroeconomics.
Vastav holds a BSc and MSc in Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Before joining the programme, he held a pre-doctoral fellowship at the Indian Statistical Institute in New Delhi, working on projects related to health economics in India and universal health coverage.
