Tiago is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. He is mainly interested in empirical macroeconomic research, particularly in topics relating to fiscal policy and labour markets.
Tiago holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, and a BSc in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics. Before joining the programme, he was a pre-doctoral research assistant working at the under the supervision of Ethan Ilzetzki and Liliana Varela.
