DSI Faculty Affiliate Network
The DSI Faculty Affiliate scheme is open to all members of LSE staff whose research and interests align with the mission of the Data Science Institute.
DSI Faculty Affiliate Benefits
Community: Faculty Affiliates make up the core of the DSI research community. The DSI provides Affiliates with opportunities to meet other researchers from across LSE; to network, communicate and engage in collaborative, interdisciplinary research that enhances discovery and innovation within the field of data science and AI as applied to social science questions
Communications: DSI actively shares Affiliate research and activities through our website, in our newsletters, on our social media channels, and in our events programme. We can also support with media engagement and website support for relevant research projects
Events: Affiliates are invited to events throughout the year, including a regular Affiliate Research Showcase series, networking opportunities, and public and research events. They are also invited to propose events to be included in our annual events programme
Co-working space and hosting: Affiliates can book DSI meeting rooms and hot-desk space for their own use. They can also apply to have their research students located at the DSI with desk space and access to meeting rooms. We can also discuss hosting visiting collaborators
Research support: DSI can provide specialist advice about using cloud computing for research.
