DSI student event series

Explore the different student events that the DSI and others host which introduce students to a range of different real-world applications of data science studies to help plan their progression into the world of work.

CAREERS IN DATA SCIENCE AND AI
This series helps students to plan their careers in data science or related fields by inviting speakers to speak about career paths from LSE to data science jobs. Over free refreshments, students are given advice and insights directly from those that have made the transition into industry.

INDUSTRY VISITS
The DSI offers four modules of its own to students from across the School. For students taking part in a DSI module, we lead regular field trips to data science firms to get an insider view. Past trips have included visits to Google, The Bank of England and The Cabinet Office. Future opportunities will be shared directly with students.

LSE CAREERS: NETWORKING
LSE Careers hosts regular coffee mornings that attract employers from a broad range of sectors to meet and interact with LSE's active and highly engaged students and recent graduates. These events are themed by sector, including the field of data science and technology.
