Visit-id: a study of care home visiting arrangements during COVID-19

Thank you to all care home managers and care home organisations who are responding to this survey.

Visit-id is a study conducted by the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in collaboration with Care England. It is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). You can find out more about the study here.

You have reached this page because:

• You are a care home manager (or nominated senior staff member) who has agreed to participate in online research about your care home visiting policy.

If so, please click here to complete the survey for care home managers.

You will be asked a small number of tick-box questions and 10 open-ended questions (inviting short narrative answers). This should take 20-30 minutes, depending on how much you have to tell us.

If you weren’t involved enough to answer questions about the development of your visiting policy, we will ask you to send a link to someone else in your organisation to answer these questions. We would still like to ask you about your experiences of implementing your visiting policy.

At the end of the survey, we will ask you to upload or email your visiting policy. This may be in a single document or in several documents. Please have these to hand.

• You have been asked by a care home manager (or nominated senior staff member) to complete a short survey about developing the visiting policy for their home.

If so, please click here to complete the survey for care home organisations.

We will ask you 7 open-ended questions (inviting short narrative answers) about developing the care home’s visiting policy. This should take 15-20 minutes, depending on how much you have to tell us.
