LSE Cities data, Executive Masters in Cities displayed at the London Conference

8 November 2019

LSE Cities was the International Partner for the London Conference, the flagship Centre for London event held on 5 November 2019.

This year's conference took place six months before the next Mayoral election and was focused on what Londoners want from their next Mayor.

Speakers at the London Conference included Mayor Sadiq Khan and four other candidates for the 2020 Mayoral election, as well as Marisa Lago, Director of the New York City Department of City Planning and Chair of the City Planning Commission, who spoke at an LSE Cities event later that evening.

Attendees received an LSE Cities leaflet featuring the latest the Urban Age data matrix, a comparative framework to better understand how different cities perform on key spatial, social, economic and environmental indicators.

LSE Cities also had a stand at the conference showcasing some of its research projects and Urban Age publications alongside the Executive Masters in Cities (EMC), its 18-month programme for urban professionals in the public, private and third sectors who want to understand and deliver change in cities.
