Policy Alumni Network
LSE has shaped public policy and government thinking since its founding, work its School of Public Policy carries forward today. The Policy Alumni Network brings together alumni from across LSE who work in, study or have a strong connection to policy and related fields.
Open to alumni from any part of the School, the Network is a way to connect with others working across policy, government, international affairs, economics and beyond. Through events, conversations, alumni stories and opportunities to get involved, the network is a space for people to share ideas, build relationships and stay connected with the wider LSE community.
Whether policy was your degree, your career path or simply the world you now work in, the Network is here to help you stay connected.

The School of Public Policy hosts a wide-ranging programme of events throughout the year, bringing together leading voices from across government, academia, international organisations and the private sector.
Watch: Green industrial policy: balancing national goals and global integration
As part of the LSE Festival 2026, this panel brings together perspectives from academia, industry and policy to examine how green industrial policies can deliver sustainable growth in an increasingly uncertain global environment. Panellists explore the role of innovation and international linkages, particularly through global value chains, in achieving net zero, and unpack why creating everything 'at home' may have unintended economic and environmental consequences.
