About me

Alex is a PhD student in the department of Psychology and Behavioural Science.  He is studying the psychological properties of interaction on the massive online forum Reddit, identifying ways to measure and quantify how people interact with each other online. The PhD examines what these psycho-linguistic metrics are and how they can provide (and are providing) a fruitful data source for testing socio-psychological theories that, so far, do not have comprehensive empirical backing.

Alex holds an MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology from LSE and an MA in Cultural and Creative Industries from King’s College London, where he achieved a distinction on both. He also has a BA in Performance Sound from Rose Bruford College (University of Manchester) where he graduated with First Class Honours.
