The Governor of Santiago, Claudio Orrego, has launched the result of a year-long study by LSE Cities to improve urban policy design and delivery of Chile’s leading metropolitan region. Working with urban experts from Europe and the Americas, and local experts from USACH and the Santiago Regional Government, the reports provides a robust comparative analysis between Santiago and other global cities, focusing on six key policy areas and will transform the sustainability, democratic accountability and quality of life of the region.
