The Bloomberg Scholarships for Public Service are funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies, a charitable foundation that works to ensure better, longer lives for the greatest number of people. As such, the Bloomberg Scholarships for Public Service provide financial support for outstanding participants who work for public sector organisations (both at a national and local governmental level) who would otherwise be unable to meet the tuition fees of the Executive MSc in Cities.
The Bloomberg Scholarships for Public Service are open to all Executive MSc in Cities applicants who work for a public sector organisation and are unable to fund their studies without financial assistance, regardless of their nationality or current residence.
The maximum support available through the Bloomberg Scholarships in Public Service is £40,617 towards the cost of tuition. Smaller amounts may also be awarded.
No financial support is available for non-tuition fee costs, such as living expenses, travel or accommodation during study weeks. Successful recipients are expected to ensure that these costs are met by non-LSE sources.
