Undergraduate Research Internships

Each year the department runs three to five summer research internships for first and second year BSc Sociology students. It is a good opportunity to involve our students in our research community, and our research interns work with a member of academic staff on a research project, gaining valuable skills and experience.

Open to first and second year BSc Sociology students, please check your emails in Winter Term to find out more and apply!

Work with LSE's Widening Participation team

The Widening Participation (WP) team works with young people from under-represented backgrounds in state schools and colleges to raise aspirations and awareness, support attainment and instil confidence to progress to higher education. LSE students are essential to WP schemes, acting as inspiring role models and sources of information and support, and roles include being a student ambassador, a maths tutor, a mentor and more.
