On 4 October 2017, Confucius Institute for Business London (CIBL) successfully held an event to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival at LSE.
All the guests arrived at the venue at about 12:00 and the celebration began with an informative opening speech given by CIBL’s China Director Professor Cheng Weimin from Tsinghua University. After this, Dr Amily Wang dongshuo, the new coordinating teacher at CIBL gave a brief yet fun introduction about the festival to the guest which helped everyone learn more about Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. All the guests enjoyed the bite of mooncake with Chinese tea.
With more than 60 guests participating, the event demonstrated Chinese Mid-autumn culture such as traditional tea ceremony, songs. All the guests had a great time making friends while tasting dim sum.
The event was enjoyed by all and marks a successful collaboration between CIBL and the local companies.
2017年10月4日，伦敦商务孔子学院在伦敦政治经济学院举办中秋招待会。伦敦各大银行、律师事务所的商界人士以及伦敦政治经济学院的中国留学生代表，约40人受邀光临。
孔院中方院长清华大学程伟民副教授，代表伦敦商务孔子学院致欢迎辞，向大家介绍孔子学院机构的使命、中秋节承载的文化内涵。继程院长之后，伦敦商务孔子学院新任教学主管王东硕博士为大家进一步介绍中秋的传统习俗及时代变迁。孔院行政团队为大家精心准备了月饼、水果、茶酒等馔饮。嘉宾之间、嘉宾与孔院教职工之间积极友好地相互攀谈、交流信息、切磋技艺，现场气氛温馨而热烈，两小时后，大家才徐徐散去。
