Cost-effectiveness analysis comparing different timing of intrauterine device placement. We found placing the device within 10 minutes of delivery is a dominant strategy compared to placement at a follow-up. Over 5 years it will save the NHS £17,461,754 and improve women's health by preventing unintended pregnancy.
