Students who have completed at least four full courses on their University of London Global Programmes degree programme are also able to apply for admission to the LSE General Course, which allows students from across the world to spend a full academic year at LSE and claim credit for the successful completion of relevant courses.
Before applying, you should pay close attention to the start date of your Global Programmes programme and the dates at which you will receive your course results, and how this aligns with the LSE General Course start date (or year of entry).

Global Programmes students are welcome to apply to the 2nd year of entry of a relevant undergraduate degree at LSE. Please bear in mind that transfer is not automatic and admission is highly competitive, as a limited number of places are available for both first and second year entries.
To pursue this option, you should ensure to select courses on your Global Programme carefully. Your courses should match the content of the first year of the LSE internal degree you wish to transfer to, as closely as possible. You should also pay close attention to the start date of your programme and the dates at which you will receive your course results, and how this aligns with the application deadline and start date of the LSE programme you wish to transfer to.
You would then apply through UCAS in the normal way, stating that you wish to apply for second year entry.
Postgraduate studies
A number of Global Programmes graduates choose to continue their studies at LSE by applying to complete a postgraduate qualification. As an LSE postgraduate student, you would be exposed to state-of-the-art social sciences research, and have the opportunity to learn from the academics at the forefront of that research. By undertaking a postgraduate qualification at LSE, you will be able to pursue your interests in an intellectually stimulating and challenging environment while contributing to the LSE community’s daily intellectual life - participating in projects, discussions and events with fellow students, academics, and key contributors from across disciplines.

Please note that this option is not available at all of our Recognised Teaching Centres, so we recommend speaking with your local institution to find out more.
