Instituto Trajetórias

The Instituto Trajetórias – LSE Graduate Funding Programme is a landmark partnership to support master’s students from Brazil. This special event will provide a comprehensive overview of the Funding Programme and give an introduction to life at LSE as a Brazilian student.

Each year, LSE co-funds a minimum of 25 awards in partnership with Instituto Trajetórias, supporting Brazilian students enrolled on eligible taught master’s programmes.

A launch webinar will take place on Monday 24 November 2025 at 6.00pm (BRT). The event will include an introduction to the programme, details of eligibility, and guidance on how to apply. Attendees will also have the opportunity to submit questions during a live Q&A session.

The event will take place online via Zoom and will be hosted in a mixture of English and Portuguese.

Attendance is free of charge and does not form part of LSE or Instituto Trajetórias’ selection process.

To attend the session, you will need to register in advance by clicking on ‘How can I attend?’. After registering you will receive a confirmation email which will include a Zoom webinar link. You will be able to access the event on the day via this link.

About Instituto Trajetórias

Instituto Trajetórias is an organisation dedicated to expanding access to postgraduate study abroad for Brazilian students. It offers a blended financial package of scholarships and credit loans to support Brazilian postgraduate students attending recognised partner universities worldwide.

What funding is available?

The Instituto Trajetórias – LSE Graduate Funding Programme provides financial support for Brazilian students to study a taught master's programme at LSE.

Eligible programmes include:

  • All 9–12 month postgraduate taught degrees
  • The two-year Master of Public Administration (MPA) offered by the School of Public Policy

Applications are expected to open in February 2026. Students may apply for Instituto Trajetórias funding before receiving an offer to study at LSE, but as part of their application they must demonstrate that they have at least begun an application for an eligible master's programme.

Find more details on the scholarship on our Instituto Trajetórias – LSE Graduate Funding Programme webpage.

Who is eligible?

Funding is available to Brazilian nationals enrolled on one of the eligible taught master's programmes at LSE.
